Financial Controller

Based in East Lancashire this multi-site manufacturing business are looking to add a technically astute Financial Controller to join the finance team within a newly created role. Reporting to the Finance Director, the business are in a period of growth and boast a strong commercial pipeline. Your new role as Financial Controller: This is a varied role where no day will be the same. As Financial controller, reporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the finance department and all day to day financial activity. Working closely with stakeholders, you shall provide strategic insights and drive financial performance across multiple regions and business units. Managing a small team you shall take the lead over the financial operation, and be responsible for monthly management accounting, statutory requirements and year-end close, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and lead on audit requirements.
