MacKenzie King are excited to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a well-established and growing business that''s looking to appoint an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of its finance function.As the Financial Controller you will report directly into the leadership team. It will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, understands the detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-moving, commercially focused environment where processes are continuing to evolve.You''ll be responsible for delivering clear, accurate financial information, improving reporting and controls, and acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.Duties and Responsibilities:Running the day-to-day finance function and managing a small team to ensure accuracy, controls and deadlines are consistently metOverseeing stock control, including movement tracking, reconciliations and valuationsMaking sure all financial and stock transactions are properly recorded and maintained across internal systemsManaging daily cashflow forecasting and ensuring the business has sufficient liquidityHandling bank reconciliations and authorising payments in line with company policyManaging deposit accounts and foreign exchange requirementsOverseeing supplier payments and customer invoicing, ensuring agreed terms are adhered toReviewing payroll data and overseeing payroll processingActing as the main point of contact for the workplace pension schemePreparing monthly management accounts with clear ..... full job details .....
