We are committed to responsible asset management, investing long-term to help our clients, people, and the world prosper.We are seeking a future Financial Controller to report to our Local Head of FMCG, as part of AXA IM Alts Real Assets.Role overview:AXA IM Real Assets is looking for a Financial Controller to join their London-based Financial Management and Controlling Team. The main responsibilities include managing revenue streams, accounting, tax, service charge, treasury, reporting, and governance of various real estate investment structures in the UK and abroad.The role involves coordinating investor and regulatory reporting, monitoring investment performance, and collaborating with Fund Management, Asset Management, and Development Teams. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential, along with adaptability to evolving functions and system upgrades (project SHIFT).Responsibilities include:Engaging with investors: meetings, presenting results, answering questionsSupporting decision-making discussions with MB and IC membersEnsuring good governance with directors and CoSecImplementing SHIFT protocols with third-party service providersSupporting investment acquisition/disposal strategies and external debt setupsPreparing management and statutory accounts, ensuring tax complianceOverseeing budgeting and maintaining Fund Models for performance reportingMonitoring working capital and cash flow to meet investor needsDebt covenant monitoring and compliance reportingManaging property service charges and tenant arrears in collaboration with Asset ManagementQualifications and experience:ACA, ACCA, or equivalent with post-qualification experienceExperience with audits and working with auditorsDebt financing experienceKnowledge of overseas corporate structures and tax implicationsExperience in real estate asset managementExcellent English communication skillsAdvanced computer skills, familiarity with Yardi and Anaplan preferredWe welcome diverse skills and experiences.
