Operating across a diverse portfolio of projects, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality engineering solutions and is entering an exciting period of growth and operational development.Your new roleReporting directly to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective business partnering across the organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and developing the finance teamDelivering accurate monthly management accounts and board reportingManaging budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planningOverseeing project accounting and contract reportingDriving improvements to financial controls, processes and systemsSupporting commercial decision-making through meaningful financial analysisManaging year-end audit and statutory reporting requirementsWorking closely with operational and project teams to maximise profitability and performanceMonitoring working capital and supporting strategic business initiativesWhat you''ll need to succeedFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Previous experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership roleExperience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or project-based environmentsStrong technical accounting and financial ..... full job details .....
