Financial Controller

Robert Half has partnered with a project-based business to recruit for a Financial Controller, based in South Leeds.This is a senior finance position with responsibility for overseeing financial reporting, financial controls, planning and commercial performance, while partnering closely with operational and senior leadership teams.Key responsibilitiesLead monthly and annual financial reporting processes.Maintain strong financial controls and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.Oversee balance sheet management, reconciliations and financial reviews.Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.Provide financial analysis, insight and challenge to support business decision-making.Partner with operational teams to monitor financial performance, costs and profitability.Oversee the financial management of a portfolio of projects, identifying potential risks and opportunities.Support cash flow, working capital and wider commercial initiatives.Provide financial guidance and insight to senior stakeholders and project teams.Lead, develop and support the finance team.Drive improvements across finance processes, systems and reporting.About youQualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Several years'' post-qualified experience in a senior finance position.Previous experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure or another project-based environment.Strong background in financial control, reporting, budgeting and forecasting.Experience ..... full job details .....
