Financial Controller£85k + Bonus3 days in the office (Central London)Halliday Marx have exclusively partnered with an international media business who are looking for a Financial Controller to join the team.Duties:Oversee Group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple legal entities globally, including commentary on key variances.Manage group audit and coordinate all local audits.Manage a global team of finance professionals focused on local statutory accounting and compliance.Work with relevant external parties such as tax consultants, tax authorities and auditors.Lead process simplification and optimisation through greater reliance on systems.This role will require creation of global accounting practices and procedures to bring all legal entities to one accounting standard.This role will also drive continuous improvement of relevant accounting and operational finance processes to shorten the monthly closing cycle and streamline reporting.Monthly consolidation and preparation of financial statements, including full PandL, Balance Sheet and Cash FlowCoordinate monthly closing activities across all legal entities to achieve 3 day closePrepare monthly analysis of results, commenting on key variances against prior periods and BudgetsAnnual statutory audit, including coordination of all local auditsManagement of IFRS16 (leases) accounting for all legal entitiesOversee calculation of Transfer Pricing revenue and cost for all legal ..... full job details .....
