Financial Accountant

This is a permanent opportunity offering broad exposure across financial accounting, statutory reporting, and compliance, within a collaborative and supportive setting.Working closely with the Lead Financial Accountant, you''ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial information, support audit processes, and help drive continuous improvement across financial systems and controls.What you''ll do• Take ownership of financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards • Prepare statutory accounts, including group and subsidiary reporting requirements • Lead on balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and control account management • Support external and internal audit processes, acting as a key point of contact and ensuring timely delivery of audit requirements • Contribute to VAT, tax, and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks • Maintain oversight of fixed assets, income recognition, and key financial areas in line with accounting policies • Collaborate across departments to gather and validate financial information, ensuring strong financial control • Support and promote adherence to financial policies, processes, and best practice across the organisation • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen controlsWhat you''ll need• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or equivalent experience • Strong background in ..... full job details .....
