Financial AccountantLocation: Northampton (Office-based)About the RoleWe''re looking for a technically strong and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join a growing, fast-paced business. This is a pivotal role within the finance function, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the company''s financial reporting.You''ll take ownership of the general ledger, lead on statutory reporting and audit, and play a critical role in cashflow forecasting and financial control. This position offers exposure to senior stakeholders, including CFO-level, and the opportunity to influence key financial decisions in a complex, multi-entity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCashflow and Financial ControlProduce and maintain daily cashflow reportingOwn the rolling 13-week cashflow forecast and longer-term projectionsMonitor cash performance and analyse variancesSupport debt facility management, including drawdowns and complianceFinancial Reporting and Technical AccountingEnsure accurate and compliant financial statements in line with UK GAAP (FRS102)Manage intercompany reconciliations and group accounting entriesSupport acquisition accounting and complex accounting areasMaintain and develop accounting policiesAudit and Statutory ComplianceLead the year-end statutory accounts process and external auditManage relationships with external auditors and advisorsEnsure all Companies House filings and legal obligations are metTax and ComplianceOversee tax compliance across ..... full job details .....
