Financial Accountant – International Education

- £55k to £60k per annum (2 days a week in Central London)My client is a well established International Education company with a vibrant and energetic culture. This role involves system-driven improvements and working as part of a collaborative finance team.Responsibilities

Conduct monthly reconciliations for critical balance sheet accountsPrepare intercompany invoices, manage FX transactions, and validate balances ahead of period-end closeCoordinate intercompany activities and recharges, including payroll distributions and IT initiatives for the GroupPrepare and align VAT and other occasional tax submissionsManage accounting entries and reconciliations related to student insurance and eBook consumptionContribute to the month-end process through journal entries, financial reports, and account reviewsUphold internal financial controls within designated responsibilitiesProvide audit support by gathering and delivering required documentation to internal and external auditorsYour background

Possess solid technical accounting expertise, with hands-on experience in complex areas such as consolidated group reporting or navigating multiple accounting standardsDemonstrate strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to critically assess your own work and maintain accuracy under tight deadlinesYou will need to be a UK residentLocation
