This is an excellent opportunity to work under a fantastic Head of Financial Controls, gaining exposure to a broad and technically strong role within a supportive and professional environment.The RoleAs Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of core financial reporting and statutory responsibilities, playing a key role in maintaining robust financial controls and delivering high-quality outputs.Key responsibilities include:Leading month-end and year-end close processesPreparing financial and statutory accountsSupporting year-end reporting and audit processesActing as a key contact for external auditorsManaging VAT compliance and reportingEnsuring strong financial controls and technical accounting standards are maintainedAbout YouWe are looking for a technically strong and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dedicated financial accounting role.You will ideally have:CCAB qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIPFA / CIMA)- Strong part-qualified or exceptional QBE candidates will also be consideredProven experience in a pure financial accounting role (not just as part of a broader finance position)Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of statutory reportingExcellent systems knowledge and confidence working with finance systemsExperience liaising with auditors and handling ..... full job details .....
