Interim Financial Accountant

Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced and driven Interim Financial Accountant to join a high-growth, fast-fashion e-commerce retailer backed by a leading mid-market Private Equity firm.Having recently scaled to 500m in annual turnover across UK and international markets, the business is currently undergoing a finance transformation to support its next phase of international expansion and eventual exit readiness.This is a 6 month contract paying between 400 - 500 per day inside ir35 doe with hybrid working available.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare management accounts and manage complex reconciliations (multi-currency, inventory, and payment gateways like Stripe/PayPal).Act as the main contact for external auditors and prepare year-end audit files.Ensure transaction data flows accurately from Shopify Plus to NetSuite.Support the 13-week rolling cash flow forecasting required by PE investors.Automate manual processes and plug control gaps to support scaling.RequirementsQualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.Experience: Background in e-commerce (handling high-volume transactions and stock) and working within PE-backed businesses.Systems: Advanced Excel and experience with large ERPs (NetSuite, Dynamics, or SAP). ..... full job details .....
