Financial Accountant

This role offers an excellent platform for a newly qualified accountant or a first-time mover from practice looking to develop their career within industry and gain experience across group reporting, consolidations, statutory accounts and corporate finance.Your new role As Finance Accountant, you will support the Group Financial Controller across a broad range of financial reporting, compliance and month-end activities. This is a varied role that will provide exposure to both technical accounting and commercial finance responsibilities.Key duties will include:Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts and supporting year-end audit processes.Assisting with group consolidations, intercompany reconciliations and elimination journals.Supporting the preparation and submission of statutory accounts and Companies House filings.Liaising with auditors, external advisors and internal stakeholders.Assisting with corporation tax, VAT and wider compliance requirements across the group.Preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple legal entities.Supporting the production of board reporting packs, ..... full job details .....
