Financial Accountant

CMG are excited to be exclusively partnering with a leading media marketing business based in London. They are currently looking for a newly qualified financial accountant to join their head office team in central London. The successful candidate will be integral in managing month end and quarter end reporting whilst ensuring of tight controls and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and submit statutory accounts for group entities.Lead year-end processes and manage statutory audits with external auditors.Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare quarterly VAT returns for EMEA entitiesIdentify and implement process improvements and internal control reviews.Review purchase invoice coding, cost allocations, and approvals.Support management accounts, particularly in areas such as inventory.Oversee preparation of management accounts for related entities.Manage annual tax reporting requirements (e.g. PSA, P11D).Calculate and submit corporation tax returns, including RandD claims.Compile reports for regulatory bodiesProvide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.Act as a role model and mentor within the finance team.RequirementsStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Experience with nominal/general ledger accounting systems.ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualifiedAdvanced Excel skills with strong numerical and analytical capabilities.Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.Self-motivated with a ..... full job details .....
