Our client, a leading company in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Financial Accountant and Credit Controller to join their Finance department on a fixed-term basis. This dual role involves managing the company''s financial records, reporting processes, cash management, and credit control function, ensuring accurate financial accounting and effective credit management practices to support healthy cash flow and compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for credit control, including implementing new credit management processesMonitor accounts receivable and actively manage the credit control process to reduce debtor days and minimise financial risk exposurePreparation of Monthly Credit Review presentations and meeting notesWeekly overdue forecasting to corporateLiaise with the shared services AR teamEngage in trade finance activities, such as liaising with commercial offices and customer support managementOrganise and conduct weekly forecasting meetings for cash and overdue forecastsPrepare and post accurate monthly payroll journal entries and manage payroll-related returns to HMRCJob Requirements:Level 3 AAT qualified, or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)Experience within a similar finance role, with expertise in credit controlKnowledge of and experience with accounting systems, including general ledger experience (SAP preferable)Strong financial accounting entry requirements and financial reporting rules complianceProficient ..... full job details .....
