Overview

The Finance Transformation Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of a technology-enabled finance transformation. The individual will work within a wider Transformation Team, led by a Steering Committee and will project manage the process mapping, investigate possible finance technologies and identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in our processes across the Group. The role will leverage financial and commodities experience to support cross-functional teams across all commodities and operating countries to ensure successful deployment. The role will require international travel.Main Responsibilities

Implementation of improved finance systems and processes to automate tasks, reduce manual errors and streamline workflows, identifying cost savings and increased efficiency.Improve access to real-time data and analytics.Strengthen risk management: improve financial controls and reporting and enhance risk identification and mitigation.Deliver standardized processes and documentation and engage/educate finance and related operations teams to ensure embedment.Evaluate existing finance processes and operating models against industry best practices.Establish forums with key stakeholders and Finance colleagues to identify opportunities for material improvements to core processes.Assess overall Master Data Management framework and reengineer the data flow to improve efficiency across platforms, improve integration and platform performance.Review current reporting structure and assess output reports and documents required to improve standardization.Collaborate with the CFO and other senior business stakeholders to design a strategic technology roadmap for Finance.Provide recommendations on prioritisation of projects and critical dependencies.Establish appropriate governance structures aligned with the Operating Model project, providing strategic direction, planning, control and monitoring.Manage stakeholders and provide regular updates to Governance forums and Business Leaders.Lead full lifecycle implementations including building and onboarding project teams.Build strong relationships with colleagues across the business functions including Change Management and IT.Skills and Experience

At least 7 years in a similar or finance-related role with a strong background in financial processes relating to commodities trading, risk management and regulatory compliance.Degree in finance, accounting or business administration.Experience in soft commodities environment with proven experience of managing global ERP implementations within commodities.Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting and compliance requirements, project management accreditation, excellent collaboration, communication and ability to work in a multi-cultural, commodity-type business.Seniority level
