Finance Systems Lead

SystemsAccountants are working with a global PE Fund who have recently gone-live with Microsoft Dynamics 365 FandSCM. The organisation is seeking a Finance Systems Lead to drive their ecosystem forward ensuring ROI and optimisation.Core Responsibilities

Analyze existing accounting processes in D365, understand pain points, identify areas for improvement, standardization, and automationCollaborate with stakeholders across Finance teams, IT and others to understand and document business requirementsDemonstrate Dynamics 365 Finance solution capabilities, propose comprehensive solutions based on Dynamics 365 Finance framework, contribute to process improvement workshops, support solution design to address business requirementsDocument existing and future Finance business processes including system flows, roles and responsibilities, controls. Provide clear and thorough end user documentation as well as application support documentsProvide Dynamics 365 Finance SME support, investigate and identify root cause and resolve issues related to Finance ProcessesSolution testing, assist with user acceptance testing, end-user trainingDevelop strong relationships with global teams, including those outside the financial functionSupport Finance team during month-end close, assisting with accounting and reporting tasksLead initiatives to upskill the Finance team in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), including creating user manuals, delivering targeted training sessions, and developing a network of super usersEssential Requirements

Technical Experience

3+ years'' experience in Dynamics 365 Finance functional area configuration, customization and implementation of D365 FinOps componentsGood understanding of D365 Finance processes including General ledger, Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Procurement, Taxes, Cash and bank management, Consolidations, Credit and collections, Year-end closing, Chart of accounts, Dimensions, Controls, User security, WorkflowsPrevious experience streamlining and automating finance operational processes (AP, AR, GL etc.)Ability to effectively challenge change requests and arrive at a practical conclusion aligned with Dynamics 365 best practiceExperience in development of internal controls and financial systems developmentIf this role is of interest please DM or email ..... full job details .....
