Finance Operations ManagerThis is a hands-on role focused on finance operations, process management, cash control, and maintaining accurate financial records. Payroll, VAT, tax compliance, and management accounts are outsourced, allowing you to concentrate on the smooth running of the finance department and driving operational excellence.You will also be responsible for managing and developing a Finance Administrator while acting as the key finance contact between the business and its external finance partners.Location: London Heathrow ( Hybrid) Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 (1-hour lunch)Salary: £40,000 Key ResponsibilitiesOwnership of Xero accuracy, maintenance, and financial data integrityOversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processesEnsure daily bank reconciliations are completed accurately and on timeSupport and enhance credit control activities using ChaserManage purchase ledger workflows, including invoice approvals and processingSupervise and develop the Finance AdministratorMaintain strong control of cash flow and working capitalIdentify and implement improvements to finance processes and controlsLiaise with external accountants and the fractional Finance ManagerAbout YouPrevious experience in a hands-on finance, bookkeeping, or finance operations role within an SMEAdvanced working knowledge of XeroAAT qualification or equivalent practical finance experienceExperience within the express courier, logistics, transport, or distribution sector ..... full job details .....
