Finance Officer SomersetLocation: SomersetContract: Temporary sickness coverHours: Full-timeStart Date: ASAPWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Officer to join a Multi-Academy Trust in Somerset on a full-time temporary basis, providing sickness cover.The successful candidate will provide financial and administrative support to the Trust, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.Previous experience working within a school, academy or Multi-Academy Trust environment is highly desirable, and experience using PSS software would be an advantage.Key Responsibilities Supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the Trust Processing invoices, purchase orders and payments Maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with financial reconciliations and reporting Supporting budget monitoring and expenditure tracking Processing and maintaining financial documentation Liaising with schools, suppliers and other stakeholders regarding financial queries Ensuring financial procedures and processes are followed correctly Providing administrative support to the finance team Working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust Requirements Previous experience working in a finance role is essential Experience working within a school, academy or Multi-Academy Trust is highly desirable Experience using PSF software would be advantageous Strong administrative and organisational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Good IT ..... full job details .....
