We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Dukinfield that is seeking a Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and support the operational leadership team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (QBE) and enjoys working in a varied role with responsibility across all aspects of finance.The RoleReporting directly to the General Manager and managing a Finance Administrator/Credit Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the company''s finance operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Key responsibilities include:Managing the month-end process and preparing a fully reconciled trial balance for the group finance function.Full balance sheet control, including accruals, prepayments and fixed asset accounting.Maintaining and reconciling nominal ledger and control accounts.Producing and submitting monthly VAT and CIS returns.Managing sales invoicing and accounts receivable activities.Supporting and actively participating in credit control to maximise cash collection.Overseeing customer account creation and credit approval processes.Processing purchase invoices and ..... full job details .....
