Finance Manager (12-Month FTC)

Our client, a highly respected global organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Due to business requirements, candidates must be available to start immediately or at short notice.

This role is ideally suited to a practice-trained qualified accountant with a strong background in audit, who has subsequently gained experience within a complex international business environment. You''ll lead a remote finance team, oversee reporting activities, and partner with stakeholders across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a remote finance team
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting processes
• Ensure robust financial controls and compliance
• Manage balance sheet reviews and reconciliations
• Support statutory reporting and external audit requirements
• Partner with senior stakeholders across international markets
• Drive process improvement and reporting efficiencies
• Support ERP system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous audit experience is essential
• Ideally trained within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Proven Finance Manager experience within a complex business environment
• Experience working within a global organisation is essential, ideally a US-headquartered business
• Experience managing and developing remote teams
• Strong financial reporting, controls and compliance knowledge
• SAP or other ERP systems experience would be highly advantageous
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Recent and relevant UK finance experience
• Full right to work in the UK - sponsorship is not available
• Immediately available
