Finance ManagerAnnual Salary: £45,000 - £55,000Location: Ellesmere Port, CheshireJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeAn established business is seeking an experienced and adaptable Finance Manager to oversee the day-to-day finance function while managing a small ledger team. This role also encompasses responsibility for payroll and a range of office and administrative duties, reporting directly to the Finance Director and Managing Director. This is a diverse and hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is comfortable balancing multiple priorities to meet the needs of the business.Day-to-day of the roleFinance and Team Management:Daily management of the finance department, including queries, shared mailboxes, and payment runs.Line management of a small ledger team, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Review and oversight of subcontractor payments.Payroll:Completion of weekly and monthly payrolls.Management of payroll year-end processes including P35s, P14s, P60s, P11Ds, and Class 1A NICs.Administration of the company pension scheme.Financial and Statutory Duties:Preparation of information for the company financial year-end.Maintenance of company statutory books and completion of required returns.Maintenance of management company accounts until handover.Business and Compliance Support:Implementation and review of company policies and procedures.Monitoring and administration of company insurance claims and reporting.Review of sales contracts ..... full job details .....
