Finance Manager

Jacob Grey have partnered with a highly ambitious SME in Beaconsfield to appoint a PQ/Qualified Finance Manager. This is a fantastic role which includes scope to progress (potentially FC in the near future) as well as opportunity to impact the business commercially. Reporting to an engaging and well respected Head of Finance the remit for this role entails:Preparing a detailed set of management accounts each monthBalance sheet reconciliations, PandL, accruals, prepayments, and journal adjustmentsVariance analysis and commentary in order to provide insight to the boardAssisting with Year End reporting and Statutory AccountingActing as point of contact between the audit team and finance department to ensure requested backup is supplied and queries are answered in a timely manner.Supporting budgeting, reforecasting, and variance analysis across the businessManaging financial compliance, including VAT and HMRC reportingSupporting commercial decisions with clear, timely financial insightWorking with external accountants and banks to ensure statutory requirements are metContributing to financial planning as the business grows across new sites and servicesPreparing of detailed breakdowns of various expense categories to assist external advisors with preparation of corporation tax returns.Assisting with cashflow management and forecastingLeading and mentoring a small finance team, managing all transactional dutiesAd hoc analysis of data to provide insight to the businessOver time ..... full job details .....
