Finance Manager

Our client is an established SME operating within a specialist environment. Backed by a larger international organisation, they have built a strong reputation for delivering quality products and services to customers across the UK. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a broad and autonomous Finance Manager position with responsibility for leading the finance function. You''ll oversee the day-to-day financial operations, produce timely management information, manage cashflow, and ensure accurate reporting to the wider group.Key responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the day-to-day finance function.Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.Monitor cashflow and prepare forecasts.Oversee month-end and year-end processes.Maintain accurate financial records and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare VAT returns and support statutory reporting requirements.Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.Provide financial support and commercial insight to the senior leadership team.Liaise with the wider group finance function to ensure reporting deadlines are met.Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.Salary and benefits:Salary: £45,000 - £50,000Hybrid working available.Broad, varied role with a high level of autonomy.Supportive leadership team and stable business environment.Immediate start on offerIPS Finance has 45 years'' experience in the Yorkshire accountancy recruitment market.
