Finance Manager

The Role
We''re looking for a proactive Finance Manager to lead financial operations, oversee reporting, and ensure smooth month-end processes. You''ll be managing a small team, driving accuracy and efficiency, and providing valuable insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day finance activities including AP, AR, and general ledger

Prepare and review management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and financial reports

Lead the month-end close process, ensuring reconciliations, journals, and variances are managed accurately and on time

Utilise Sage software for financial management and reporting, providing training and support to the wider team

Support with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis against targets

Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with tax and reporting standards

Manage and mentor a small team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement

About You:

Qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)

Proven experience in a Finance Manager (or similar) role

Strong expertise in Sage accounting software

Excellent knowledge of month-end close and financial reporting

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability

A confident communicator with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
