Based in Cheadle, this role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and leading a small team. You will be working close and right hand to the director who currently wants to step away to pursue other projects.This company is fast growing, and the accounts function is very busy!Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. (no micromanaging required as current team are established into their roles)Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.Drive process improvements and support system upgrades or transitions.RequirementsQualifications are "great to have" however experience and team fit is key to this role.Proven experience in a finance management or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage).Excellent leadership, communication, and ..... full job details .....
