The role sits within the Finance Centre of Excellence and will act as the lead technical accounting resource across VAT, Fixed Assets, IFRS 16 and Treasury. Working closely with finance teams and key stakeholders across the business, you''ll provide expert guidance on complex accounting matters, ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation, and help drive continuous improvement across financial reporting and controls. The Role As Finance Manager - Advisory, you''ll be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise across the Finance Centre of Excellence, helping to strengthen governance, improve consistency of accounting treatments and reduce reliance on Corporate and Group Finance teams. Key responsibilities will include: Acting as the subject matter expert for technical accounting matters across the Finance Centre of Excellence. Providing practical guidance and support on complex transactions and accounting issues. Ensuring compliance with IFRS, UK GAAP, VAT legislation and company accounting policies.
