Interim Finance Manager: 6-Month Contract GloucesterLocation: Gloucester (hybrid, 3 days on site)Contract: 6 months, with potential for extensionRate: £375 Per DaySector: Manufacturing The opportunity Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing business based in Gloucester. Rapid expansion has increased the demand on the finance function, and they are looking for an experienced Interim Finance Manager to take ownership of the monthly reporting cycle, strengthen financial controls, and support the leadership team through the next phase of growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who can step in quickly, build credibility with senior stakeholders, and deliver from week one. Key responsibilities Own the month-end close process, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysisLead and develop a small finance team, providing day-to-day guidance and supportProduce accurate, insightful reporting for the Board and senior management, covering margin analysis, cost performance and KPIsOversee inventory valuation, standard costing and cost accounting in a manufacturing environmentSupport budgeting, forecasting and cash flow managementStrengthen internal controls and improve finance processes as the business scalesLiaise with external auditors and manage statutory accounts and VAT complianceContribute to ad hoc projects, including system improvements and business cases for investment About you Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ..... full job details .....
