Finance Director

Our client is a successful bespoke high-value manufacturing business (-2.5m turnover, seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide part-time support.

The Role of Finance Director
You will oversee financial management, ensuring robust cost control and accurate reporting for long-term, high-value projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts.
• Mentoring the Finance Manager and reviewing Xero-based accounts.
• Managing export licences and compliance for controlled products.
• Providing ad hoc analysis on productivity, sickness, and holiday trends.
• Supporting marketing administration for international trade shows.
• Overseeing statutory accounts and tax returns.

The Candidate for Finance Director

• Detail-oriented, hands-on, with a collaborative style to work closely with the owner.
• Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and data handling).
• Experience in bespoke/long-term project manufacturing.
• Knowledge of import/export processes advantageous.
• Must be a qualified accountant

Location & Commitment

• Based in Richmond, London.
• On site Mondays and Thursdays (2 days per week).(Non negotiable )
