Finance Director

Our client is a successful bespoke high-value manufacturing business ( 2.5m turnover, seeking an experienced Finance Director to provide part-time support. The Role of Finance Director You will oversee financial management, ensuring robust cost control and accurate reporting for long-term, high-value projects. Key responsibilities include: Preparing management accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts. Mentoring the Finance Manager and reviewing Xero-based accounts. Managing export licences and compliance for controlled products. Providing ad hoc analysis on productivity, sickness, and holiday trends. Supporting marketing administration for international trade shows. Overseeing statutory accounts and tax returns. The Candidate for Finance Director Detail-oriented, hands-on, with a collaborative style to work closely with the owner. Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and data handling). Experience in bespoke/long-term project manufacturing. Knowledge of import/export processes advantageous. Must be a qualified accountant Location and Commitment Based in Richmond, London.
