Overview
University Schools Trust (UST) is expanding its Central Finance Team and is recruiting a Finance Business Partner. You will be based at the head office in Tower Hamlets with considerable time spent on-site at the schools across the trust. Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partner, you will support budget holders in financial and strategic decision making.Responsibilities
Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and budget holders.Challenge and support senior management in managing spend on a portfolio basis.Identify potential risks and opportunities and develop solutions to manage them.Lead the monthly end reporting cycle and management accounts.Contribute to periodic forecasting and yearly budget setting.Translate financial information into insightful commentary.Provide input into benchmarking, dashboarding and financial modelling.Oversee operational financial management and audits.About you / Qualifications
A CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualification.Strong accounting knowledge and ability to explain concepts to colleagues.Extensive experience in financial management, including budget monitoring and risk management.Experience completing financial reports and handling both core transactional and strategic responsibilities.Sound organisation and time management skills with attention to detail.Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a pressurised environment.About us
