Job Title: Finance Business PartnerLocation: Braintree/HybridType: Temporary (6-month contract)Hours: Full TimeStart Date: ImmediateRate: £250-300 per day (Inside IR35, Dependent on Experience) Overview: We are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to provide expert financial support across a range of services within a public sector setting. This role requires a confident and collaborative individual who can work closely with senior managers to drive financial performance, improve reporting, and influence strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive financial and management accounting support, including budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes. Support service leads with expert advice on financial implications of operational and strategic decisions. Provide robust challenge to existing assumptions and budgets to ensure efficiency and value for money. Lead on revenue and capital financial reporting and ensure the accurate submission of statutory returns. Contribute to corporate projects, supporting financial planning and performance review. Drive financial awareness and accountability among budget holders through active engagement and support. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting codes and best practices, particularly CIPFA and public sector requirements.
