Finance Business Partner (6-Month FTC)

Location: Oxford- 5 days per week on-site
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months)
Salary: -45,000 - -50,000 per annum (pro rata)
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

We''re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Finance Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This hands-on role will play a key part in delivering financial insight, supporting strategic decisions, and partnering with our Marketing and HR functions. You''ll be based on-site 5 days a week, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, manage forecasting, and support business cases.

Key Responsibilities:



Month-End Performance Reporting

• Review and analyse monthly results.

• Collaborate with the Controllership team to identify required adjustments.

• Deliver clear, action-oriented financial commentary to stakeholders.

Forecasting & Planning

• Lead planning and forecasting cycles for assigned departments.

• Ensure forecasts align with the annual operating plan and stakeholder expectations.

• Highlight risks, opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.

Quarterly Commercial Reviews

• Prepare and present key financials and performance insights.

• Work with business leaders and senior management to drive commercial performance.

Business Case Support

• Partner with stakeholders to build robust business cases.

• Provide financial modelling, investment appraisal, and scenario analysis.

Project Financial Management

• Track and manage project cashflows.

• Identify financial risks and recommend actions to support successful delivery.

Business Partnering

• Act as a strategic finance partner to Marketing and HR teams.

• Build strong relationships to support data-driven decisions and add value.
