We''re looking for a Finance Associate to join our growing Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience across
Financial Control and Treasury operations , while studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA). You''ll gain exposure to a wide variety of tasks, have real ownership from day one, and play a key role in helping us scale.
Responsibilities
Own reporting and analysis of key treasury metrics, including monitoring Freetrade''s cash position and liquidity risks.
Support the maintenance of bank mandates, administration, and banking relationships.
Ensure bills are accurately recorded and suppliers are paid on time through weekly payment runs.
Reconcile cash transactions in bank accounts to internal records, supporting both day-to-day activity and month-end close.
Assist with accruals, prepayments, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations to audit standard.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal budget owners and external vendors, resolving queries quickly.
Contribute to wider Finance team projects and processes when needed.
About you
Strong academics and at least a 2:1 degree (preferably Finance-related) or equivalent experience in a Finance function.
Ambitious, eager to grow in a fast-paced company while gaining an accounting qualification.
Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel, with strong numerical and analytical skills.
Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with excellent organisation and attention to detail.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, managing your workload to hit deadlines.
