Finance Assistant

An established and fast-growing organisation within the logistics sector is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its finance team. Working closely with the wider finance function, you will play an important role in ensuring financial records are maintained accurately and processes run smoothly. As a Finance Assistant, you will provide day-to-day administrative support across a range of finance activities, with a particular focus on accounts payable. You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, matching and coding invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payment runs and reconciliations, and responding to supplier queries. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, you will help ensure invoices are processed efficiently and the accounts payable function operates smoothly. Ideally you will: Have previous experience within a finance, accounts, administration, or clerical environment, although relevant experience is preferred rather than essential. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a hardworking and diligent approach, and strong attention to detail. These qualities will be key to succeeding in the role.
