FFandE Category Manager 12 month FTC

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading London based retail client to recruit for a FFandE Category Manager on an initial 12 month contract. The role:The Category Manager will be responsible for sourcing and cost reduction with a specific focus on Store Design and permanent fixtures. Duties:Responsibility for development and delivery of the Store Design sourcing strategy, working with regional leads to deliver a category plan in agreement with the Global Procurement Director.Spend Mapping of all associated spend data to support sourcing strategy, including ''deep dive'' analysis of spend within the category across all geographic regions.Taking a lead role in working with stakeholders to develop a local sourcing plan and project roadmap.Project managing regular supplier cost initiative meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as Supplier Relationship Management at a regional level.New supplier sourcing and tendering programs with development and monitoring of full 12-month sourcing pipeline. Skills and Experience:Previous experience and expertise supporting both SD Indirect category is absolute must.Must have developed and implemented Indirect category strategy reviews.
