This Interim Senior IT Category Manager role in Leeds involves managing IT procurement, ensuring efficient sourcing and supplier management. You''ll play a key part in managing the Tech and SAAS contracts, to ensure best value for money and smooth renewals with suppliers. Client DetailsThis role is working within a busy and growing Procurement Team who work at a fast pace and so you will be required to come in and hit the ground running straight away! This role will be based in Leeds at least 3 days per week, however, they will cover your expenses!DescriptionAs Interim Senior IT Category Manager you will be reporting into the head of IT Category, duties will include, however, not be limited to: Manage IT procurement activities, including sourcing and supplier negotiations, mainly focusing on the Tech and SAASEnsure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and priorities.Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Prepare and present procurement reports and recommendations.Support the procurement and supply chain department with strategic initiatives.ProfileA successful Interim Senior IT Category Manager should have:Proven experience in IT procurement, ideally with a SAAS and Tech focus.Strong knowledge of category management principles and practices.Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.Ability to ..... full job details .....
