An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Solicitor to join a well-established and highly regarded Care Department based in Bromsgrove. This role offers the opportunity to handle a varied and rewarding caseload of public and private children law matters, working closely with vulnerable clients and making a genuine difference to families and children''s lives.The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative team environment, undertaking a significant amount of advocacy while managing their own caseload of complex care proceedings from instruction through to conclusion.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a diverse caseload of public and private children law matters, including complex care proceedings. Representing parents, children, guardians, and other parties in care and family proceedings. Conducting a high level of advocacy, including attendance at Court hearings and contested matters. Providing clear, practical, and empathetic legal advice to clients throughout their matter. Preparing cases effectively, including drafting legal documents, witness statements, and Court applications. Working closely with clients, Counsel, experts, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
