You will be based within the district service area of Lichfield, which is proud to support a ''Family Help'' pilot. In this role, you will work closely with social workers to support children in need. Hybrid working is supported, providing a balance between office-based and home working.Package DescriptionMain ResponsibilitiesOur Family Practitioners are key workers for the children and families we support. Your responsibilities will include:Leading on early help assessments and plansWorking with social workers to support children in need, children on child protection plans, and children in careContributing to parenting assessments, supporting mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution, and Life Story WorkSupporting the completion of accurate documentation, reports, and records related to your work with children, young people, and their familiesThroughout your work, you''ll support children and families with a restorative practice approach, aiming to keep families together where it is safe to do so.The Ideal CandidateYou will have:A minimum of NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families or relevant experienceExperience supporting children and their families within their homes, delivering direct work, and being creative in your engagement strategiesFlexibility with working hours, including potential evening and weekend workA current UK driving licence and access to a vehicleWe are happy to discuss flexible working arrangements.
