We are recruiting for a Family Legal Secretary to provide dedicated secretarial and administrative support to a Fee Earner within a well-established Family Law department. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous legal secretarial experience who enjoys a varied role, regular client contact and being an integral part of a supportive legal team.The Role As Family Legal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive support across a varied caseload of family law matters, including:Divorce and financial settlementsChildren and child arrangements mattersCohabitation and separation agreementsInjunctions and domestic abuse mattersYour day-to-day responsibilities will include:Audio typing and transcription of digital dictationPreparing correspondence, court documents and other legal documentationManaging diaries, appointments and deadlinesHandling telephone and email enquiries professionally and sensitivelyAssisting with new client onboarding and ID checksPreparing and organising court bundlesOpening, maintaining and closing client filesAssisting with billing and administrative processesProviding general secretarial and administrative support to the Fee EarnerAbout You We are looking for someone who has:Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firmFamily Law experience ..... full job details .....
