Factory Operative

Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Witham, Essex.

This is a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team within a busy production environment. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with previous manufacturing, warehouse, packing or production experience, as well as those looking to learn new skills.

Duties of Factory Operative:

• Packing finished products ready for dispatch
• Carrying out basic assembly work
• Operating production machinery after training
• Labelling products and preparing orders
• Completing basic quality checks
• Keeping the work area clean and organised
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

Ideal Applicant:

• Previous factory, production, warehouse or packing experience is preferred but not essential
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to follow instructions and health and safety procedures
• Comfortable with manual handling
• Good team-working skills

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Early finish every Friday
• Full-time hours
• -12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay through Prime Appointments
• Ongoing temporary position with potential for long-term work
• Free on-site parking
• Full training provided
