Factory Operative

A well-established and growing manufacturing business specialising in the production of high-quality outdoor products is seeking a Factory Operative to join their production team. This is a temporary to permanent role with excellent progression and training opportunities.-

The company is based in Poole and recognised for delivering durable, well-crafted products and maintaining high standards, due to continued growth, they are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to support their factory operations.

This position is working Monday to Friday, a day shift and paying -13ph.-

Duties for the Successful Factory Operative

• Assisting within manufacturing and assembly-
• Working with a variety of materials and hand tools within the factory environment
• Carrying out fabrication, fettling, and finishing work to company standards
• Supporting paint shop activities, including preparation and finishing of products
• Reading and following production drawings and instructions
• Ensuring products are manufactured accurately and efficiently
• Carrying out quality checks on completed products
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working area
• Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines and production targets

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or factory environment essential-
• Experience in fabrication, fettling, or paint shop work would be highly advantageous
• Good practical and hands-on skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
