Facilities Maintenance Technician

Our client is a leading distributor business based in Deeside. They are looking for a Facilities Technician to work within a team to carry out maintenance activities for the upkeep of buildings, equipment and vehicles.Key duties:Follow maintenance schedules as outlined and make repairs and adjustmentsTroubleshoot by consulting blueprints, schematics, and other sources as necessaryRespond to company''s maintenance emergency needs and emergency calls for maintenanceReduce/minimize machine downtime to achieve performance measuresPerform troubleshooting to solve minor repair issuesReport breakdowns for FLT fleet, including the new VOR process, liaise with Jungheinrich to ensure all servicing is carried out as per service schedule.Maintain key records for site compliance such as Waste consignment notes.Carry out Racking inspections as per SESS training.Core CompetenciesKnowledge of maintenance procedures, and the ability to troubleshootIdeally experience working with Conveyor Belts, PLC''s and Hydraulic and Pneumatics is an advantage however this is not essentialAbility to lift heavy loads, physical agility, manual dexterity,Experience in maintenance is required,A mechanical engineering qualification is preferredWhilst training you will work a day shift, this will then move to a 6am - 2.30pm - 2pm - 10.30pm 1 week on/off rota. ..... full job details .....
