The successful candidate will help ensure the building remains clean, safe and ready for daily activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out main cleaning duties throughout a large multi-purpose buildingSet up and reset rooms for meetings, events and activitiesMove and arrange furniture as requiredComplete basic caretaking and maintenance tasks as neededConduct routine building checks throughout the shiftEnsure all areas are left clean and tidy ready for useSecure the premises at the end of the day, including locking up and carrying out security checksRequirementsPrevious experience in caretaking, facilities, cleaning or maintenance rolesAbility to undertake manual handling tasks, including moving furnitureStrong attention to detail and high standards of cleanlinessTrustworthy and dependable, with the ability to work independentlyComfortable carrying out building security procedures and lock-up responsibilitiesGood organisational and problem-solving skillsIdeal BackgroundCandidates with experience in any of the following environments are encouraged to apply:Community centresSchools or ..... full job details .....
