About the Role:
As a Facilities Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the school site is well-maintained, secure, and ready to support daily teaching and learning activities. You will work closely with the site team and school leadership to carry out essential maintenance and support tasks.

Key Responsibilities of Facilities Assistant:
- Carrying out day-to-day site maintenance and basic repairs
- Supporting school functions, including setting up rooms and moving equipment
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained throughout the site
- Managing site security and monitoring access when needed
- Liaising with contractors and external providers
- Performing manual handling tasks as necessary
Requirements for Facilities Assistant:
- Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service
- Previous experience in a similar caretaking or facilities role (school experience desirable)
- Good communication, organisation, and practical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying shifts during term time
