Metal FabricatorLocation: Wednesbury Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: £31,200 - £36,400 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm (40 hours per week) with occasional overtime availableAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Metal Fabricator to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in the West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of bespoke heavy engineering projects, producing high-quality fabricated components and structures within a busy workshop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret detailed engineering and fabrication drawingsFabricate components using mild steel, stainless steel and aluminiumCarry out cutting, forming, assembly and tack welding dutiesPerform MIG welding to a high standardOperate workshop machinery including guillotines, press brakes and overhead cranesInspect completed work and identify any non-conforming materials or componentsComplete fabrication work accurately and within agreed timescalesMaintain high housekeeping standards and comply with all health and safety proceduresComplete relevant documentation and assist with additional workshop tasks when requiredSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience as a Metal Fabricator within an engineering or manufacturing environmentAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbolsMIG welding experienceExperience working with mild steel, stainless steel and ..... full job details .....
