Welder Fabricator

Alliance Personnel are seeking a dedicated Fabricator/Welder to join one of their clients based in Cannock. This role involves the fabrication and welding of metal components, primarily utilizing TIG/MIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality structures and assemblies. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and experience working with sheet metal and various welding processes. Duties Perform TIG/MIG welding on various metals, including steel and aluminum, ensuring strong, clean welds that meet project specifications. Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling sheet metal using hand tools and power tools. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately to guide fabrication and welding tasks. Use mechanical skills to set up and operate welding equipment and related machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger structures or systems as required. Qualifications Proven experience in TIG/MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards.
