Fabric Engineer

A leading Construction and Facilities Management contractor is seeking an Fabric Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This is a mobile role working across a range of commercial sites across Lincoln. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality mobile facilities maintenance services to high street retail and banking clients. Perform a range of building fabric maintenance tasks including: Patch repairs, minor plumbing and carpentry and painting and decorating Conduct both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across client sites. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with statutory health and safety standards and internal policies. Carry out regular inspections and monitoring of equipment as part of a preventative maintenance programme. Effectively communicate with clients during service visits, reporting defects and providing updates. Maintain accurate records of work completed using digital systems. Represent the company professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. Requirements: Full UK driving licence (essential). Proven experience in a similar role within facilities management, mobile maintenance, or the construction sector. City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant trade (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, building maintenance). Good IT literacy for digital record keeping and reporting.
