We''re currently recruiting for a Fabric Assistant to join Luxury Fashion brand on a contract basis in London.

Location: London - fully site-based

Pay: -115.38170 per day PAYE

Start Date: 2 September 2026

Contract: Until 18 December 2026

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

About the role:

You''ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for inspecting Client''s fabrics and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Inspecting off-loom and finished fabrics for quality and faults
• Carrying out mandatory quality and shade checks
• Identifying and accurately recording fabric faults
• Using tailor''s chalk to mark defects
• Allocating fabric to the correct storage areas
• Updating fabric locations and information on relevant systems
• Supporting on-loom inspection and fabric mending
• Ensuring fabric is presented to a high standard before delivery
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping and safe working practices
• Working closely with managers and colleagues to achieve daily targets

About you:

We''re looking for someone with:

• Previous textile/fabric or manufacturing experience
• Experience working to high-quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to follow instructions and established procedures
• Good problem-solving skills
• Basic Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or equivalent)
• Excel and Microsoft Word skills would be advantageous
