Fabric AssistantWe''re currently recruiting for a Fabric Assistant to join Luxury Fashion brand on a contract basis in London.Location: London - fully site-basedPay: per day PAYEStart Date: 2 September 2026Contract: Until 18 December 2026Hours: 37.5 hours per weekAbout the role:You''ll be part of a dedicated team responsible for inspecting Client''s fabrics and ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:Inspecting off-loom and finished fabrics for quality and faultsCarrying out mandatory quality and shade checksIdentifying and accurately recording fabric faultsUsing tailor''s chalk to mark defectsAllocating fabric to the correct storage areasUpdating fabric locations and information on relevant systemsSupporting on-loom inspection and fabric mendingEnsuring fabric is presented to a high standard before deliveryMaintaining excellent housekeeping and safe working practicesWorking closely with managers and colleagues to achieve daily targetsAbout you:We''re looking for someone with:Previous textile/fabric or manufacturing experienceExperience working to high-quality standardsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyThe ability to follow instructions and established proceduresGood problem-solving skillsBasic Maths and English (GCSE Grade C or equivalent)Excel and Microsoft Word skills would be advantageousIf you have experience in textile production, fabric inspection, quality control or manufacturing and are looking for your next ..... full job details .....
