Are you passionate about play-based learning and supporting young children at the start of their educational journey? Do you thrive in a fun, active, and hands-on environment? PK Education are working with a small, welcoming school near Normanton, Wakefield, who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.

About the Role:

• Support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
• Get involved in messy play, outdoor activities, and creative experiences that bring learning to life.
• Provide 1:1 support to children with additional needs, including developmental delay and social communication challenges.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEND staff to deliver inclusive, child-led learning.

About You:

• Experience working in EYFS or early childhood settings is essential.
• Enthusiastic about helping young learners thrive through play, exploration, and supportive relationships.
• Patient, caring, and confident - especially when providing tailored support to individual children.
• Ideally hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification (not essential with suitable experience)
